OpenStack Engineer

As an OpenStack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, within the Global OpenStack Production team. Based in Poland, you’ll play a vital role in managing the OpenStack infrastructure across multiple countries where our client operates. Your responsibilities include ensuring high availability environments, automating BAU tasks, and proactive infrastructure improvements. Following ITIL methodology, you’ll maintain and develop monitoring, automation, and reporting solutions for OpenStack platforms, while also collaborating closely with customers and vendors.

Your main responsibilities: Maintain & develop solutions for monitoring, automation, and reporting on OpenStack platforms

• Perform technical reviews and stay updated on new features
• Plan and build new innovative infrastructure
• Contribute to functional and technical documentations
• Utilize ServiceNow ticketing tool for managing requests, changes, incidents, and problems
• Interact with vendors for technical reviews and forum participation
• Work closely with customers to support cloud application transformation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in a similar field
• Strong expertise with OpenStack platform
• Expertise in Linux and high availability environments
• Ansible & scripting skills for developing new automations
• Team collaboration skills to deliver appropriate solutions
• Strong global infrastructure knowledge (Clustering, Storage, Network, OS)
• Analytical mindset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
