As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, on a critical initiative within their cybersecurity division. This role involves managing strategic projects aimed at enhancing the company’s cybersecurity posture by improving software capabilities, automating processes, and ensuring robust security measures across on-premise and cloud infrastructures. You will collaborate with delivery partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to deliver these projects efficiently and within the defined scope, time, and budget.

Your main responsibilities:

• Delivering medium-sized projects focused on software improvements, technical delivery enhancements, and process automation
• Producing comprehensive project plans and ensuring they align with business objectives
• Managing the architecture delivery book of work and associated governance processes
• Producing and executing user test plans to validate project outcomes
• Reporting project status and health metrics to Programme Management regularly
• Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensuring stakeholder engagement and building buy-in around the project plan and changes
• Coordinating with Programme Managers to align project activities with wider programme objectives
• Managing the transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations, ensuring all delivery expectations are met

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong experience in delivering Agile projects within software delivery teams
• Proven expertise in technology delivery within complex organizations
• Ability to define business requirements and manage comprehensive testing processes
• Excellent planning, reporting, and documentation skills
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and driving collaboration across multiple teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in managing third-party security assessments
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
• Previous experience in a financial services or highly regulated environment
