As a Python Developer – GFX IT eRisk, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization dedicated to enhancing electronic distribution channels in the FX Options business. The project aims to implement cutting-edge front office applications, providing robust IT support to meet daily operational needs and develop innovative technical solutions for the global business.

Your main responsibilities:

• Implementing front office applications for the FX Options business
• Building and testing both front-end and back-end components
• Providing ongoing IT support to meet daily operations needs
• Collaborating with the FX Options business and support functions to deliver technical solutions
• Managing and involving in eTrading project development for simulation analytics in system ADS
• Building data science-focused analytics features for various trading desks
• Delivering regular feedback on deliverables to IT management
• Working with local and global teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Adhering to Agile development methodology and delivery-driven processes
• Leading and providing guidance to junior team members

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ IT software development experience
• Strong technical knowledge and solid experience in Python
• Experience with Pandas, Numpy, and Flask/Django
• Ability to work effectively with both local and global teams
• Good understanding of Agile development methodology
• Fluent English
• Leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance to junior team members
• A flexible approach to delivery responsibility
• An open-minded attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in machine learning, NLP, and AI
• Experience building FX or rates pricing systems
• Experience with KDB or cloud solutions
