Python & SAS Developer

Join Our Team as a Python & SAS Developer at one of the biggest Polish Banks!

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Python & SAS Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, to design and implement algorithms for data processing, transformation, and reporting within SAS and Python environments. You will be involved in testing, documenting solutions, and enhancing the performance and functionality of existing systems. Your role will also include participating in the planning of new modules and verifying the quality of the software.

Your main responsibilities: Design and implement algorithms for data processing, transformation, and reporting in SAS and Python environments

• Test IT solutions
• Document solutions (technical, administrative, test, and user documentation)
• Participate in developing concepts and planning new modules and functionalities
• Optimize the performance of existing systems by enhancing code efficiency
• Improve implemented solutions in terms of performance and technology
• Verify software quality

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Practical knowledge of SAS 4GL
• Practical knowledge of Python
• Practical knowledge of SQL
• Practical knowledge of the SAS programming environment
• Experience working with distributed version control systems, e.g., GIT
• Minimum 1 year of experience in programming with SAS 4GL
• Minimum 1 year of experience in programming with Python
• Proficiency in English, sufficient for communication and reading technical documentation
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently
• Familiarity with MS Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel)
• Experience working with Agile methodology

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Informatica Cloud
• Knowledge of Snowflake
