Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work fully remotely!

As a Manual Tester you will be working for our client, a leader in global financial services, focusing on enhancing their cybersecurity measures. Your role will involve defining manual user tests for software changes in an agile, DevSecOps environment. This includes working with product owners, stakeholders, and the QA team to ensure the integrity and security of web applications and APIs associated with third-party services..

Your main responsibilities:

  • Working with product owners to manage backlogs and define new requests with clear and testable acceptance criteria
  • Obtaining cross-team consensus to drive progress towards project goals
  • Managing scope and ensuring the prioritized product backlog aligns with customer priorities
  • Driving and managing testing phases of projects
  • Participating in the creation of test strategies and implementing test plans for various application parts
  • Maintaining and helping define manual test artifacts, metrics, and environment
  • Conducting data analysis and presenting raw data in simplified formats, displaying trend analysis and highlighting outliers
  • Identifying exceptions in application logs and performing initial triage for managing bugs and tests
  • Working within Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Collaborating with the QA team and stakeholders to refine and improve testing processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Manual Tester within an agile Software Development team
  • Relevant industry certification in manual testing
  • Experience designing manual testing for Web applications and REST APIs associated with third parties
  • Proficiency in defining artifacts used in Agile delivery, such as epics, stories, and tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive and manage workshops independently
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and DevSecOps delivery processes, including tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GIT
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks
  • Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge with others
  • Experience with API development and familiarity with REST and HTTP protocols

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk & Compliance processes
  • Experience delivering process flow diagrams and process improvements associated with complex system flows
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning and associated application security scanning tools (SAST, MAST, DAST, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (SAFe Scrum)
  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience with UML diagrams
  • Experience with Gherkin syntax
  • Experience as a performance tests engineer
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL
