SAP BASIS Consultant – IT/IS Team

France-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely!

As a SAP BASIS Consultant, you will be working for our client, a leading company in the European market. You will join our IT/IS team, supporting the Technical Architecture Manager on the migration of our SAP ECC 6 system to SAP S/4HANA.

Your main responsibilities: Participating in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP S/4 HANA environments, including ECC, BW, PI, SolMan, and Fiori

• Performing system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization for system reliability and efficiency
• Providing technical support and guidance to SAP end-users, resolving issues promptly
• Collaborating with the project management team, offering regular updates on project progress and risk mitigation strategies
• Managing external stakeholders, overseeing technical activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Maintaining transparent communication channels with stakeholders, and providing regular updates on project milestones and changes to the plan

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in SAP BASIS administration, focusing on SAP S/4 HANA migration projects
• Strong communication skills in both English and French
• Strong proficiency in SAP installation, configuration, and maintenance, particularly in ECC, BW, PI, SolMan, and Fiori environments
• Expertise in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for optimal system operation
• Project management experience, with the capability to provide regular updates and manage risks effectively
• Ability to oversee external partners’ technical activities and ensure alignment with project objectives
• SAP certifications in BASIS administration or related areas
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges
