As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, specifically in the Control Tower team within Wholesale Service Management. The role revolves around ensuring the successful delivery of Control Tower projects and coordinating the team to build data assets supporting global market onboarding and actionable client insights.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile Scrum teams and drive Agile Delivery processes
  • Reflect Agile and Scrum values to the team, fostering continuous process improvement
  • Support release planning, project tracking, and monitoring
  • Develop Agile engineering practices, focusing on deploying data assets
  • Mediate conflicts between the development team and Product Owner
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and meetings, sizing and ranking user stories and tasks
  • Remove impediments for the team and report metrics for change catalysts
  • Maintain Agile tools and contribute to product vision and backlog management (Story board, Action board, charts, backlogs, etc.)

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in Financial Services
  • Background in delivering data-led projects
  • Good understanding of IT delivery governance processes
  • Proven experience in IT Development and servant leader management
  • Experience in Agile delivery models and project structures
  • Understanding of Agile metrics and reporting. Release burn downs, Sprint Burn downs, Velocity etc. & User story mapping
  • Excellent presentation and negotiating skills
  • Proven experience in managing significant risk and problem resolution
  • Story point sizing and ranking according to value based priorities for evaluation of a Minimum Viable Product

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in Agile risk management
  • Additional Business Analyst experience
  • Strong servant leadership skills & relationship management and networking skills
