As a Senior AWS Python Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, spearheading the adoption of Cloud services, especially AWS, as part of their „Cloud First” strategy. Joining the Global Cloud Services AWS Adoption team, you’ll collaborate with passionate engineers and cloud experts, building resilient, scalable solutions in an agile and automated manner.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead major incident investigations, provide on-call support, and manage projects with junior colleagues
• Deploy applications to AWS in collaboration with App Teams
• Develop automation solutions using Python
• Write Terraform scripts as needed
• Upgrade existing and develop new security controls
• Enhance compliance dashboards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Broad experience across various AWS services
• 4+ years of experience with Java and Python
• Practical understanding of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Demonstrable success stories in enterprise infrastructure delivery
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, Git, Ansible
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Firm belief in the importance of security in AWS solutions

It is a strong plus if you have:

• AWS certification(s) or equivalent expertise
• Proficiency in Terraform
• Certification(s) in Linux or Windows
• Experience in non-functional testing
• Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance
• Background in highly regulated industries
