As a Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, shaping the future of digital banking. The Mobile Development Engineer (DevOps) opportunity is part of a strategic initiative to enhance digital capabilities, fostering innovation and agility in product delivery. Joining the Mobile team, you’ll be at the forefront of building and maintaining the mobile engineering lifecycle, ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

• Building custom tooling in Python and documenting scalable solutions for multiple teams
• Monitoring, maintaining, and extending the existing in-house Mobile CI pipeline and related services (Jenkins & Vagrant)
• Triaging Mobile CI pipeline failures in the Americas time zone
• Participating in building and configuring automated tooling and reporting
• Defining dashboards to monitor production services and configuring alerts and monitoring on live systems
• Engaging in incident management and supporting production systems
• Providing support to development teams and ensuring mobile services comply with Client’s controls
• Actively participating in the Mobile Engineering Discipline and associated communities
• Expanding CI capability and managing the in-house CI service built on Jenkins
• Supporting the procurement of external services and building tooling for automated app releases

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Solid experience in a Mobile Engineering environment
• Hands-on experience with continuous delivery of Mobile applications
• Collaboration skills across teams
• Knowledge of AWS for DevOps and basic services & concepts
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Prometheus
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Bash scripting
• Understanding of API Security
• Troubleshooting skills and experience in performance testing

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with JVM memory spaces
• Previous involvement in managing production systems
• Experience in building custom tooling for development teams
