Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Warsaw based opportunity with a possibility to work remotely up to 4 days a week

As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent company in the insurance sector. You’ll primarily focus on developing and maintaining their TIA application system, utilizing Oracle technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms. Additionally, there will be opportunities to integrate the system with other company insurance platforms and acquire knowledge for ongoing application maintenance and enhancement.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the TIA system using Oracle technologies (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms)
• Integrate the system with other company insurance platforms
• Acquire necessary knowledge for continued application maintenance and development
• Familiarity with the TIA system
• Experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of Unix or Linux environments at the user level
• Certifications in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms technologies
• Experience working in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Strong organizational skills
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience in building and maintaining Oracle-based systems, particularly with PL/SQL
• Ability to tackle non-standard problems requiring additional knowledge acquisition
• Analytical thinking skills
