As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, on the Path To Live team. This team focuses on enabling other Digital software teams to deliver quickly while meeting regulatory controls, through automation and streamlining processes. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, integrating, and testing pipeline capabilities, collaborating closely with cross-functional Digital teams.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, integrating, and testing pipeline capabilities
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional Digital teams
• Bringing in new technologies to the Client and evolving processes for Agile, value-driven work
• Providing both production and development support

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Java software engineering
• Expertise in test-driven development, architectural and design patterns, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Git (particularly GitHub) and Maven
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and UI development (JavaScript frameworks like Angular)
• Strong understanding of Agile continuous delivery practices and tooling automation solutions
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile, cross-functional team environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Curiosity and a passion for solving complex problems
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive innovation
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements and technologies
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have experience with:

• Jenkins, Groovy, Nexus, and Splunk
