As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You’ll join a team dedicated to revolutionizing Wealth Management services, impacting thousands worldwide. Your main responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and developing applications on AWS and on-premises, migrating applications to the cloud, integrating existing systems with new banking apps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, and developing applications on AWS and on-premises
• Migrating applications to AWS and integrating existing systems with new banking apps
• Collaborating with other engineering teams in cloud environment movement
• Estimating costs and time scope for application and service migrations
• Maintaining Client’s infrastructure and solving issues in real-time
• Contributing technical skills through all project phases in cross-functional teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of Java coding experience
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with AWS infrastructure
• Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS technologies like EC2, S3, SSM, CM, Lambda, ECS, Route 53, VPC, API Gateway etc.
• Practical experience with database technologies (RDS)
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Azure, GCP, PCF, or other cloud solutions
• AWS certification Architect / Developer / SysOps
• Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodology
• Familiarity with Jira task management
• Previous experience in banking/trading areas
• Terraform experience and ability to write automated scripts in i.e. Python
