System Analyst

Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work 20% remotely

As a System Analyst, you will be working for our client, a prominent player in the IT industry. You’ll contribute to groundbreaking projects, specifically focusing on the development of the largest banking application. The client values your role in translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical specifications. Direct collaboration with developers and system architects is crucial to drive the growth of this application. You’ll design seamless system integrations, articulate contracts, and prepare analytical documentation. Engage in cutting-edge technological projects, constructing applications in both private and public cloud microservices architecture.

Your main responsibilities: Collaborate directly with developers and system architects on advancing the major banking application

• Convert business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Design system integrations and define contracts
• Prepare comprehensive analytical documentation and propose functional and technological solutions in collaboration with architects
• Participate in stimulating technological projects, constructing applications in microservices architecture within private and public clouds

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst in IT projects
• Knowledge of various integration methods such as REST, SOAP, and others
• Proficiency in preparing functional specifications using UML notation (component and sequence diagrams)
• Understanding of basic IT system architecture – databases, data buses, HTTP protocols
• Excellent communication skills with internal users (business), development teams, IT units, and software vendors
• Proficiency in using Jira/Confluence and tools for API testing (SoapUI/Postman/Insomnia)
• Ability to interpret application logs and familiarity with the ELK stack
• Experience with version control systems (Gerrit, GitLab)
• Additional advantage: familiarity with issues related to SME sector, electronic and mobile banking, payment systems, mobile payments, payment cards
• Experience working in agile teams
