Test Automation Developer (Javascript)

As a Test Automation Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. We’re seeking a skilled individual to join our agile team and contribute to the development of software solutions for compliance, legal, risk management, and executive bodies.

Your main responsibilities: Designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests for web applications

• Conducting exploratory tests to identify UX and usability issues
• Developing and co-creating quality assurance processes within the team
• Supporting the team in code reviews
• Creating and maintaining test documentation for designed solutions
• Managing environments for automated tests
• Preparing test data, mocks, and reports
• Active participation in SCRUM team activities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in preparing UI automated tests
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with SOLID, KISS, DRY principles
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Puppeteer/Playwright
• Ability to test REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with relational databases and data extraction
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Azure Test Plans, XRay) and task management tools (Azure Boards, Jira)
• Proficiency in version control systems, e.g., GIT
• Understanding of quality assurance best practices, e.g., Page Object Pattern
• Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
