Financial Controller – Equity Underwriting, Bond Underwriting & M&A

Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remotely!

As a Financial Controller, you’ll be a key member of the Product Control team of our client – One of the largest Private bank in the world. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data for Equity Underwriting, Bond Underwriting, and M&A activities.

Your main responsibilities: Oversee incoming cash accounts for timely clearance

Take full ownership of the global Balance Sheet for Equity Underwriting, Bond Underwriting, and M&A, including daily compilation, sharing with regional teams, collecting commentary from stakeholders, and monitoring aged items
Perform reconciliations between product processors and ledgers at month-end and quarter-end
Leverage digital tools to streamline data pulls, aging analysis, and commentary input
Manage intercompany reconciliations, including reviewing, resolving discrepancies, and preventing future issues
Assist teams with investigations related to IBSL, SDPP, and FFS reconciliations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for Finance or Accounting (CPA or CFA a plus)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (Financial Control, Internal Control, or Audit preferred)
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
Ability to analyze large datasets, identify anomalies, and pinpoint root causes of errors
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present findings clearly
Motivated, organized, and a team player
