As a Documentation specialist, you will join the team of our client, one of the largest Private Bank in the world. You will be part of the Rapid Automation Development Team within the SSO Department. This is a dynamic group focused on driving operational efficiency through automation. You’ll join a collaborative team responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions across the EMEA region.

Your main responsibilities: Partner with Project Managers, developers, and business users to gather information and understand project requirements

  • Develop and maintain user guides, technical specifications, configuration guides, and other technical documentation for automated solutions. (Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and up-to-date is merged into this bullet point)
  • Participate in code reviews and identify potential documentation gaps
  • Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain a consistent documentation style guide
  • Develop and maintain a central repository for all project documentation
  • Organize gathering of evidence related to process reengineering (test scenarios, execution, operational readiness, etc.)
  • Organize and taxonomize the collected documents, ensuring clarity and searchability.
  • Prepare additional documentation as needed, applying rigorous quality assurance (QA) measures
  • Track progress, maintain a steady run rate for evidence gathering and documentation, and proactively report any problems encountered
  • Stay current on industry best practices for technical writing and automation documentation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 1+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or a related field
  • A strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and its various stages
  • Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare, Confluence) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Securities Services processes (e.g., corporate accounting, fund accounting, trade confirmation, settlements, custody, transfer agency) is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality written work
  • Experience with Jira for project management is a plus
