As an IT Security Engineer for our client, you will be working for a leading company in the field of network infrastructure and telecommunications. The client is committed to ensuring robust security measures across their systems and networks. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in safeguarding sensitive data and preventing security breaches. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities: Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture

Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated trainings in IT security area
Respond to IT security incidents and related systems outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the IT security area and recommend additional security solutions or enhancements
Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations and participate in investigations into problematic activity
Provide support for end users for all in-place security solutions and practice infrastructure asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory
Prepare incident reports and provide guidance to junior members of the IT team

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
At least 3 years equivalent work experience
Certification in IT security area will be an important additional advantage.
Strong communicative English required
Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, current network hardware, protocols, and standards
Ability to operate network component analyzers, scanners, and testers
Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in pressure situations
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with meticulous attention to detail
Working experience in a team-oriented, collaborative, and international environment
